THE NECESSITIES

In addition to how you’re going to allocate your time on the Big Island, consider the following must-knows to ensure a relaxing, rewarding experience that goes off without a hitch.

> Attire Attire for all Creative Marketing events is resort attire or casual attire. We have no formal events planned.

> Climate Weather on all of the Hawaiian Islands is very consistent, with only moderate changes in temperature throughout the year. This is possible due to the year-round warm sea surface temperatures, which keep the overlying atmosphere warm as well. Expect daytime highs in the low- to mid-80s and nighttime temperatures in the low- to mid-70s.

> Time Hawaii is three hours behind Pacific Standard Time, four hours behind Mountain Standard Time, five hours behind Central Standard Time and six hours behind Eastern Standard Time.

> Internet Access/Phones All guests of Creative Marketing will receive complimentary high-speed internet access in their rooms. Local and toll-free calls are also complimentary. We do suggest that you contact your local cell phone service provider for information on use of your personal phone while in Hawaii.

> Grocery/Snacks Each hotel room comes with a mini refrigerator large enough to stock drinks, snacks and small food items. The Mauna Lani Resort Area in which the hotel is located features a well-stocked grocery store, Foodland Farms, at the Shops of Mauna Lani. Complimentary shuttle service is available to this area from the Fairmont Orchid.

> Car Rental All rental companies are available at the Kona-Keohole International Airport, located 30 minutes south of the resort. Dollar Rent-a-Car maintains a desk at the resort with cars available, but pricing from airport locations tends to be lower than at the hotel. Should you rent a car, guests of Creative Marketing will receive complimentary self-service parking.

> Final Documents You will receive final documents for you and your guest(s) approximately two weeks prior to departure for Hawaii. These documents are very important, and we highly encourage you to read through everything thoroughly upon receipt.

You should now be ready for your unforgettable Big Island adventure! All you have to do is pack and prepare yourself for a great time and the great memories to be made at Mahalo 2012!
